A Journey of Indigenous Wisdom and Unity with Grandmother Jyoti Ma & Swami Ogi 🪞🤍🌎
Reflecting on a Transformative Weekend with Grandmother Jyoti Ma at House of The Rising Mojo
Our Shared Dreaming Retreat and Peace Pilgrimage event with Grandmother Jyoti Ma was nothing short of life changing. I wanted to share my reflection from the experience for those who weren’t able to attend. Three different people from all over the world messaged Luke and I the morning after the Shared Dream saying “I had a dream that I was with you, in the ceremony” so we know the field is responding to the work. May the words of this journey find the ears of those who are meant to hear it’s call.
Abundant, radiant love
I had the great privilege of spending time with Grandmother Jyoti Ma from The Fountain as well as her friend Swami Ogi, an experience that left me with a lingering radiance I have never known before... From our intimate gathering at the House of the Rising Mojo to the Shared Dream ceremony we shared, I found myself deeply moved by the presence of this remarkable woman and her dear friend Swami Ogi who have both spent extended periods of time with the Koggabba Mamos in the Sierra Nevadas of Colombia. Grandmother Jyoti Ma’s wisdom and effortless presence have formatively reshaped my understanding of my life's journey and the person I aspire to become.
I now realize that the main calling of my life is to embody love and peace and allow everything else to emanate from this centerpoint.
The Presence of a Light-Filled Being
From the moment I picked Grandmother Jyoti Ma up at the airport to when I dropped her and Swami Ogi off at the Lisboa Marina for the Earth One Atlantic Crossing, I felt myself emanating a loving, light-filled presence. If you ever have the chance to meet Grandmother Jyoti Ma, I highly recommend it.
Whether in prayer, ceremony, or simply listening to her speak, her presence is a gift.
A Journey of Shared Dreams and Koggabba Wisdom
Our weekend began with a shared dream during a ceremony, where we were joined by Swami Ogi, a teacher who has spent time with Grandmother Jyoti Ma in Colombia with the Koggabba or the Kogi Nation (as previously known). Practicing basic pranayama breathwork with Swami Ogi opened a new pathway to enlightenment that I had never known existed. In all honesty, I’ve never felt the call towards enlightenment, but now I have tasted the sweet nectars of this frequency I know my heart’s path is leading me towards this place of ever-new consciousness bliss.
The balance of masculine and feminine energies with Grandmother Jyoti Ma and Swami Ogi offered a doorway to an enlightened human experience that I now have the great pleasure of pursuing through daily practice of devotional prayer, movement and meditation.
The Wisdom of Indigenous Peoples
Our time together was enriched by the wisdom of the Koggabba Nation and the original instructions of Indigenous peoples. Swami Ogi shared many of his perspectives and experiences having lived with the Mamos in Colombia, as well as his time with Vedic masters in India. He described their cultures as entirely symbiotic and drew incredible parallels between them.
During the Shared Dreaming ceremony, we envisioned a world without property lines or boundaries, where the Great Mother Earth and her flowing rivers and landscapes are revered as the highest form of value and beauty. The Shared Dream was a magical moment where we were able to access the power of the collective subconscious and to integrate both the shadow and the light into a co-created waking dream.
The following day at the House of the Rising Mojo, we hosted about 35 people in a beautiful dome. We opened in prayer, prayed for peace in multiple languages, and listened to more of Grandmother Jyoti Ma's story. The gathering was a miraculous convergence of beautiful hearts and minds, culminating in ecstatic dance and a shared meal by the fire.
A Call to Pilgrimage Within
As we move forward, the next step in our pilgrimage is to work with Grandmother Jyoti Ma and The Fountain to appoint an Elder Council and host its first meeting. We are committed to walking in the wisdom traditions of Indigenous peoples and taking full guidance from them.
We are also going to be working with Swami Ogi to understand his tradition and begin to practice under him as a spiritual teacher. I have been practicing breath work for over five years now and I have never experienced states of consciousness as I did with the simple instruction that Swami Ogi offered us in our Shared Dream ceremony. In a deep state of relaxation I saw a doorway to my inner most temple and felt that this man held the tradition which would unlock true spiritual awakening in my own spirit. It also helped me reach a realization that my brother Luke so divinely articulated in our time tigether:
This pilgrimage is not just a physical journey but an inward one, inviting each of us to come home to our divine consciousness. It's about working through shadows and illusions that separate us from divine loving awareness.
For me, this is the greatest call to action I've ever received—to deepen my meditation, yoga, and love practices and release the illusions that keep me from realizing the divine light being that I am. So no matter what happens in our cycle pilgrimage, I am focusing my attention on this path every single day, every step of the way.
Join us on the Journey
If you feel called to join us, we invite you to our upcoming retreat at Port-du-Graal in the Algarve from December 7th to 14th. The retreat, titled "I Am Ascension," will include a dark retreat with Kriya Yoga, a shared dream, and a new ascension protocol developed in partnership with a board-certified psychiatrist. I hope to see you there. Feel free to reach out with any questions. Peace be with you.
Supporting Sacred Territories with The Fountain
In collaboration with the House of the Rising Mojo, we are thrilled to announce that all proceeds from the event will be donated directly to The Fountain to support their invaluable work raising funds for the restoration of sacred sites within the Koggabba Nation. Together, we are excited to see the fruits of the restoration of the 9-part body in The Heart of The World.
If you feel called to donate directly, you can do so via the donate page on The Fountain website.
Thanks again for tuning into Regenera and adventuring with us on this journey to the New Earth!
